Personalization and approvals

Provide the exact spelling, names, dates, coordinates, photographs, and other details you want on your item. When we provide a proof, review every detail before approving it. The approved proof and confirmed order specifications guide production.

Production and cancellations

Standard custom orders are normally completed within 7 days after payment and approval of all required details. Holiday or high-volume turnaround times may differ and will be posted or quoted separately.

You may request a cancellation before production begins. Once production starts, a custom or personalized order cannot be cancelled or returned because of a change of mind. This does not limit remedies for damage, defects, errors by us, or an item that materially differs from the approved order.

Your artwork and photographs

Submit only images, logos, text, or other materials that you own or have permission to reproduce, including any necessary permission from people pictured. By submitting material, you authorize Shellback Woodworks to use it to prepare and fulfill your requested order. Ownership of your original material remains with you.

Handmade variation and mockups

Wood grain, knots, stain absorption, bead colors, and other natural or handmade characteristics may vary. Screen colors and product mockups may differ slightly from the finished piece. Refer to the stated dimensions because display photographs do not establish scale. Design-example mockups illustrate customization possibilities.
