Personalization and approvals

Provide exact spelling, names, dates, coordinates, photographs, and other details. When a proof is provided, review and approve every detail. The approved proof and confirmed specifications guide production.

Production and cancellations

Standard custom orders usually require approximately 7 business days after the order and any artwork details are approved. Production time does not include carrier transit or time awaiting pickup. Pay-at-pickup orders can enter production once the order and details are confirmed, without requiring advance online payment. Holiday or high-volume turnarounds may vary and will be posted or quoted. Expedited requests are quoted separately.

You may request cancellation before production starts. Once production begins, custom or personalized orders cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind. This does not limit remedies for damage, defects, our errors, items materially different from the approved order, or rights under applicable law.

Your artwork and photographs

Submit only materials you own or have permission to reproduce, including any required permission from people pictured. You authorize Shellback Woodworks to use submitted material to prepare and fulfill the order. Ownership of original materials remains with you.

Handmade variation and mockups

Wood grain, knots, stain absorption, bead colors, and other handmade characteristics vary. Screen colors and example mockups may differ from the finished product. Refer to stated dimensions. Design-example mockups illustrate possible customization.
