Handmade Padauk & Maple Basket-Weave Bowl

A one-of-a-kind work of wood art, handcrafted in Milton, Florida by Shellback Woodworks. Rich African padauk and light hard maple are individually cut and arranged in a striking basket-weave pattern, then hand-turned on the lathe into a beautifully tapered bowl.

Approximately 23 hours of craftsmanship went into this piece, from beginning to completion. Finished with wood wax to seal and protect the wood, it makes a distinctive centerpiece for a console, dining table, or curated shelf.
